Job title: Project Engineer - Wind Resource Measurements

Background: Our Company German ProfEC GmbH is successfully and rapidly growing in the field of providing bankable wind energy consultancy services. In 2012 at least 20 IEC conform meteorological wind measurement mast will be installed and the operation supervised on behalf of our clients. For these activities we seek for new professionals supporting our activities.
Office Location: preferably Oldenburg (Germany), Madrid (Spain) or Latin America (other locations in the EU or North America are negotiable)
Working focus:  worldwide

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the role:

• Consulting regarding topics as bankable wind energy yield assessments, IEC-conform wind measurements, wind resource assessments, power curve measurements, design, confectioning and commercialization of measurement equipment and expert's opinion reports
• Managing and administrating the installation of measurement units and equipment
• Managing and administrating the activities for commercializing measurement equipments
• Managing and administrating the activities for R&D on measurement equipment
• Development and improvement of wind evaluation software

Qualifications:
Degree (M.Sc, Dipl.-Ing., B.Sc. or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineer, Telecommunication Technologies / IT, RE-Technologies or similar.
